Creating a Login Password for a Parent or Payer

Students can assign an alternate password that will provide access to parents, a spouse or other authorized persons. This alternate password can be used to view, print or pay a student's bill and waive health insurance. It does not give access to class schedules, grades, or other online functions. Please note: In accordance with federal records and privacy laws, passwords can only be reset by the student.
If the parent or payer was assigned a four digit PIN prior to August 20, 2006, the parent or payer can use that PIN as the password. The parent or payer does not need to be assigned a new password.
Instructions:
After clicking Continue below, you (the student) will be asked to log in. After logging in, click Parent Password. On the next screen, you will have three options: Create/Change Parent Password, Delete Parent Password, and Change Parent Password Access.
First, you should assign your parent a password by clicking on Create/Change Parent Password.
Second, you need to select whether your parent or payer should have access to your bill and/or health insurance waiver. To allow access, click on Change Parent Password Access. On the next screen, select the area(s) you wish to enable access and click submit.

Further Help After Being Assigned a Password and Enabled Access:
Once the parent or payer has been assigned a password and have been allowed access to the bill or health insurance waiver, the parent or payer can begin using these online services.
To view the bill, click View/Pay My Bill located on the left side of the One Stop Student Service website. The next screen will ask for a Username and Password. To log in as a parent or payer, first enter the student's Username. Second, enter the password assigned to parent or payer. Third, select the Parent option button.
To waive student health insurance and/or to check a waiver's status, click Waive My Health Insurance located on the left side of the One Stop Student Services website. On the next page, the parent or payer can waive a student's health insurance charge and/or check the waiver's status. After selecting either option, the parent or payer will be asked to log in using the student's Username and the parent or payer assigned password. Just as with viewing/paying the bill, the parent or payer must select the Parent option button.
