Setting Up An Authorized Payer


Instructions

Students:  To enable a parent, spouse, or other third party access to make online payments, follow these instructions to set person up as an "Authorized Payer."

  • Step 1:  Sign in to view your bill by selecting "view/pay my bill" (on the left). 

  • Step 2:  Once logged in, select the appropriate term.  Then, click the "Pay Bill" button towards the bottom of the page.

  • Step 3:  The Message Board screen will then display. Select "Authorized Payers" from the menu.

  • Step 4:  The "Authorized Payers" screen should be displayed. At the bottom of this screen the click on the "Add New" button.

  • Step 5: In "Add Authorized Payer" screen, enter the Authorized Payer's name and e-mail.  You will also create Quikpay login name and password for the authorized payer.  

  • Step 6:  The "Authorized Payers" screen should display for the second time in this process.  If you have successfully added the authorized payer, a message will display in red to confirm the addition. The chart at the bottom of the screen will display the details that the Authorized Payer will need to gain access to pay the bill.


Parent/Payers:  To start this process, you must have received an e-mail generated once the student has added you as an authorized payer to their account. Your student should also provide you with the Quikpay login name and eight-character password that he or she created for you ( using the steps above).  

  • Step 1:  Access the e-mail sent to you by the UC Cashier as notification that you have been set up as an authorized payer. Click on the link provided within the e-mail, which will to take you to the QuickPay Login screen.

  • Step 2:  Enter your Quikpay username and password created for you by the student; then, click on the "Login" button.

  • Step 3:  Create a new password. The password must be eight characters with at least two letters and two numbers. Complete each box and then click on the "Continue" button.

  • Step 4:  The "Message Board" screen should then be displayed. In the left column of this screen, click on "Make Payment".
